BONS-ENFANTS-PLEIN
Comment créer une place ? Ici, nous avons travaillé avec la Maison de Création, et c’était fantastique ! Ce petit projet repose sur des principes très idéalistes et est le fruit d’un long processus participatif. Un beau groupe de citoyens engagés y travaille depuis un bon moment.
Un petit espace vide en bord de rue est délimité par deux murs aveugles. Le plus grand a été orné d’une fresque colorée réalisée par FarmProd. Quelques graviers et plantations ont été ajoutés pour aménager l’endroit, et nous avons été invités à construire une plateforme avec des assises ainsi qu’une boîte à livres.
Ce petit coin de Neder-Over-Heembeek devenait si idyllique que nous avons décidé, avec tous ceux qui voulaient participer, d’y ajouter quelques touches pittoresques. Parmi les moments les plus magiques de ce projet figuraient les ateliers de construction avec des personnes en situation de handicap intellectuel… et, bien sûr, la fête d’inauguration !
Hoe maak je een plein?! Hier werkten we samen met de Maison de Création, en het was geweldig! Dit is een klein project dat erg idealistisch is in zijn principes en het resultaat van een lang participatief proces. Een prachtige groep burgers is hier al lange tijd bij betrokken.
Een kleine lege ruimte aan de straatkant wordt begrensd door twee blinde muren. De grootste muur kreeg een kleurrijke muurschildering, gemaakt door FarmProd. Er werden grind stenen en planten toegevoegd om de hoek in te richten, en wij werden gevraagd om een zitplatform en een boekenkast te bouwen.
Dit kleine hoekje van Neder-Over-Heembeek werd zo idyllisch dat we – samen met iedereen die wilde deelnemen – er enkele pittoreske elementen aan toevoegen. Een van de meest magische momenten van dit project waren de bouw sessies met mensen met een verstandelijke beperking… en natuurlijk het feestelijke openingsmoment!
How to make a square?! Here we worked with the Maison de Creation and it was awesome! It’s a small project that is very idealistic in its principles. It’s the fruit of a long participatory process. There’s a beautiful group of citizens that has been engaged for a long time. A small empty space on the side of the street is defined by two blind walls. The bigger one received a mural painting with beautiful colors, by FarmProd. Some gravel stones and planting have been added to compose the corner and we were called to build a seating platform and a book box. This little corner of Neder-Over-Hembeek was becoming so idyllic that – together with whoever wanted to participate – we added some pittoresque shapes to it. One of the most magical moments of this project were the ones where we got to spend building with learning disabled people… and its inauguration party, of course!
