AGORABOX(E)
Charleroi Eden CC is creating a whole program to go into the public spaces and generate cultural activations throughout town. Having this in mind they asked us to build an Agora like the one we built for Saint-Gilles et Forest: click here!). The idea was to build it all with the people in open convivial moments. Co-Vid measures came and things changed. No longer could we host such open moments. Also they prompt a last minute request: could we make it also a possible symbolic box ring? Time was short but we decided to take the challenge and the result is a square structure that can be assembled in several different shapes – square, line, zig-zag,… – and layouts – flat stage, picnic tables, show-benches,… In the end, the last day of building and assembling we did it in place and several kids from the block came to give a hand, build with us,… and test it! Beautiful strong energy!!!
