Nous y sommes ! Une grande esplanade qui offre l’accès aux installations du centre culturel De Rink. Un large espace entre des bâtiments industriels où sont encore présentes les traces de leur démolition. Pendant une semaine exceptionnellement ensoleillée, bien bronzés, nous avons pu construire une dramatique scène en bois couverte. L’approche « low-tech » nous a permis de réduire le coût et d’engager des bénévoles tout en montrant que, avec un design simple, nous pouvons quand même opérer une transformation intéressante de nos cours et ses environnements.

And here we are: a big courtyard opens access to the temporary facilities of de rink cultural center! A wide space between some industrial buildings where there are still traces of some old demolished structures. During an amazing sunny week we get some tan while building a dramatic covered wooden stage. The low-tech approach allows us to reduce costs and engage volunteers while show proofing that with a little design simple means can still imprint interesting transformation to our own backyards and environments.
