Il y a un tout nouvel espace à remplir de vie et d’activité. En tant que premier programme de résidence artistique du centre, nous avons invité le personnel, les bénévoles et les voisins à participer à un atelier de conception et de construction. Pendant 10 jours, nous avons créé ensemble une structure en bois, modulaire ouverte, qui habite cet espace. Elle génère de la place pour des nouvelles activités variées afin que ses utilisateurs se l’approprient au fil du temps. Sa transparence, ouverture et adaptabilité accueillent toutes sortes d’événements et invitent à une interaction constante entre le centre et son public.

There’s a brand new main room to fill with life and activity. As the centers first new artistic residence program we invite staff, volunteers and neighbors to participate in a design-building workshop. For a full 10 day we altogether create an open modular wooden structure that takes over the main foyer. It generates place for a bunch of different activities and calls for its users to appropriate it over time. Its transparence, openness and adaptability welcome all sorts of events and invite a constant interaction between the center and its audience.
